Lavara is the moniker of Bruno Levesque. He writes, composes, and produces his own tracks. After living in England, he settled in the Parisian area. Influenced by James Blake, Bon Iver but also RY X, his production reminds Indie-Folk and Electronica sonorities which has now become his signature. In 2020, he was discovered by the public with « When Everything Comes to the End » from his EP « Blue Night Sickness », a track offering a progression of electronic layers, acoustic guitars, and dreamy voices. This project has been described as very honest by the critics. A few months later, a double single sees the light of day, « So Long / It's Time To ». Then, it is with « Alone by Night », a powerful single led by sharp synths, and « Sending Signals », a delicate track mixing folk sounds and electronic layers that Lavara takes the stage. Today, Lavara makes a comeback with « I Need to Know », a minimalist and airy track directly coming from his chest. With « I Need to Know », Lavara is looking for answers. What about our love?
